With an existing fandom that spans across many generations, we were tasked with creating content that not only appealed to built-in fans, but that would also entice a new era of fandom. To achieve this, we leaned into the epic storylines and high caliber ensemble cast, focusing on the character storylines while leveraging the talent, and ultimately in the name of world-building, stepping back and letting the setting of this incredible world inside the film speak for itself. Dune was a day-and-date release, so eventizing its debut (and ideally in theaters) was our main goal. Dune would go on to have the (then) highest opening weekend at the box office for a post-pandemic Warner Bros. film, letting everyone know that this cinematic experience was truly like no other. Our social campaign amassed over 10.9M engagements and 205.1M impressions across Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. We also grew the TikTok follower count by approximately 2,295%, generating 40.8M engagements.
