BACK 4 BLOOD

Back 4 Blood was the spiritual successor to the beloved video game franchise Left 4 Dead. Our challenge was bottling the positive sentiment and nostalgia attached to the original game and funneling it into the introduction of a new IP. This strategy birthed a series of creatives spotlighting the unique cast of characters, scripted videos expanding on the game’s deep lore (complete with talent-provided voice over), and, of course, multiplayer action dedicated to one thing: killing zombies. The social media campaign garnered plenty of attention as people wanted to know what the successor to the Left 4 Dead franchise would bring to the table. BACK 4 BLOOD became a quick fan favorite amongst new and old fans, enough so to be nominated for Best Multiplayer Game by Gamesradar in their Golden Joystick Awards. And withing two weeks of the game being released, it had accumulated nearly 6 million players. At the end of the launch month, our socials saw over 57 million impressions, and over 5 million reach. And not only did we create some really fun social content to support the release, we made some first-to-market AR lenses, headlined by our customizable “BACK 4 _____” filter, where you had the ability to type in whatever you wanted to express what you were BACK 4 on your own stories.
